We've had 32 inches of snow so far this year.  That's about triple what we normally get a year around here.  The snow is piled 3 to 10 feet on both sides of the road everywhere in town.  In the country, where the wind blows free, it's 0 to 15'.  Amazing..........................Global warming............ya think???

One more day of work and we are done for the year.  The whole place has to shut down by Thursday morning.  The new mill software we have doesn't recognize the 31st of December as a day and will not let up compute.  Gotta love the new stuff they put out these days!!!

Christmas went as well as it could.  Made one family gathering, canceled another and missed the last one.  But that's what 19" in 3 days and 40mph winds will do to ya!!!

With the holidays almost over, it's time to start sweating those pounds off again.  You would think I would learn someday to stay away from all that good food!!!

Am drinking whiskey now instead of beer.  I must becoming an alcoholic since there seems to be more whiskey in the glass than water................and it tastes better.

Had a colonoscopy last week and the results came back yesterday.  Everyone was right.........I AM a perfect Asshole!!!!!!

Got a couple of nice presents for Christmas.  Between the birthday, father's day and Xmas, I now have a new set of golf clubs.  Now what am I going to blame it on????????

Holy Crap!!!!!!!!   A little warning would have been nice.  Damn near 70 degrees over Thankgiving and 10 days into December we have damn near a foot of snow and 30 below zero wind chill.   Of course, since we live in the land of wind chargers, the snow isn't necessarily 12" deep everywhere. 

Wow!  Been a long time since I been here.  Guess I got caught up in the real world.  Got back to work full time the 20th of April.  Exactly 12 weeks after total knee.  It feels so much better than the old one.  But, I need to baby it a bit, cause I don't want to wear it out too soon. 

Not working much.  Some weeks we work 5 days, some 3 and one week we didn't work at all.  We are guaranteed 32 hours per week, but some of that is straight time.  Which is better than most, but it still sucks compared to bonus bucks. 

Getting a lot of fishing and boating time in.  Looking for a different tube.  Maybe two little ones would be the best.  Only my kids water ski.

Baby daughter got married June 13th.  Everything went great and as planned.  A woman would tell you all the mushy details.  Sorry, ain't gonna happen here.

So, I golf  and boat and fish and mow the lawn and work sometimes.  Life is great here in the middle of nowhere USA!!!
